Lush VIP Bloggers Party in Norwich | NEW products

Hey Beauties...
If you follow me on twitter and instagram, or live in the Norwich area, You will probably know Yesterday (friday 2nd May) Lush Norwich had a VIP bloggers party to celebrate the opening of the Lush Kitchen. All us local bloggers were able to meet up, see the new products, watch demonstrations of the products and take part in some fun activities. This was my first ever bloggers meet up I attended and I have to say it was a lot of fun! So I thought I would share my experience with you all and introduce you to some of the new products! I warn you there are a lot of pictures in this post! hehe!

New Products!
Lush New Products

My mum came with me to Lush as she said she would help me take photos and give me a lift to Norwich save me the train as my cars broken, so the first thing we did was bump into Michelle from thoushaltnotcovet and Laura from laurajanestyle and we checked out all the new goodies and got to watch some of them in action. One thing I love about Lush is they will show you how a prodcut works if your not sure about it, or if its new!

Some of the new goodies that are now available to buy are:

New Self Preserving Charity Pot
Lush New Self Preserving Charity Pot
New Charity Pot Self Preserving | £6.95 / 95g | £12.95 / 240g

Charity Pot has been around for a while however they have brought out a new Self Preserving formula of the product. If you are unfamiliar of what Charity Pot actually is, it is an all over Hand & Body lotion which leaves your skin, looking and feeling amazing! (I've used a sample of the old formula product). The best thing about this little gem is ALL proceeds go directly to the small grassroot charities Lush work with! Hence the name of the product.

May Day Bath Bomb
Lush May Day Bath Balistic
May Day Bath Balistic | £2.95

The May Day Bath Bomb I have to say was the most popular of the evening everyone was picking it up and lusting over it! I did purchase one so I will be doing a review very soon for you all! All proceeds (excluding VAT) go directly to Anti-Badger Cull projects in the UK so not only will the bath bomb leave your skin feeling so soft and revived it will also help to save the poor little badgers! It did take me a fair while to work out there's a badgers face on the bath bomb haha! How cute is this though. It contains fennel oil which gives of this gorgeous aniseed scent, that I love! I'm so excited to use this!

Granny Takes A Dip Bath Balistic
Lush Granny Takes A Dip Bath Bomb
Granny Takes A Dip Bath Balistic | £3.25

Granny Takes A Dip was another favourite in the shop! It has a familiar scent but I cant quite put my finger on what it is! Part of me wants to say fizzers sweets? It's ginger, pepper and lemon scented and believe me it smells nicer then it sounds. This fizzes into a crazy colourful frenzy, filling the room with a gorgeous scent that will 'pep you up' and 'boost your mood' I can tell you it even filled the Lush shop while they demonstrated and you know how strong the shop smells on its own woo! I'm gutted I wasn't able to pick one of these up to share with you all but its definitely on my wish list.

Sakura Bath Balistic
Sakura Bath Bomb | £3.25

Sakura Bath Bomb I believe is a returning favourite, this bath bomb is just to celebrate spring. It's designed with the sweet Japanese Cherry Blossoms (my favourite tree) in mind giving that true feeling of spring time! The bath bomb contains Mimosa,  Jasmine Oil complimented by Orange Flower and Lemon Oil to help give us that desired spring time scent. This definitely does smell beautiful and another that's on my wish list!

Making the Comforter Bubble Bar

The part of the afternoon I was most looking forward to, was making my own Comforter Bubble Bar! It is my absolute favourite Bubble Bar from lush, it was also my first ever bubble bar and I have since then been repurchasing it over and over, so to be able to make my own and bring it home was just amazing for me (easily pleased haha). It was definitely harder then I thought to get the swirl in the bubble bar it was loads of fun though and watching everyone else to see how well they done :)

Fun in the shop

There were quite a lot of people in the shop and if you have ever been in Lush in Norwich you will know the shop isn't that big but we all fit in nicely and had a good time looking at everything in the shop and enjoying some demonstrations. One of the other things to do was to see how the massage bars work and a product called dusting powder, I'm not sure if its new or just new to me, but I hadn't heard of it before.

I was also lucky enough to receive a goody bag from the lovely Lushies at the Norwich store, aswell as the May Day Bath Bomb I purchased. Let me know if you would like me to post a mini Haul with what I received? I can't wait to give everything a try!

So that was  the whole event, it was definitely more relaxed then I thought which I am glad about I'm very shy in big crowds so this was perfect for me as we just walked around doing our own thing as such. I really do hope Lush Norwich do another event like this it was a whole lot of fun and they really do know how to throw a Lush party!

Did you attend the Lush VIP bloggers Party in Norwich? If you did please leave your links below so I can check out your post from the event or follow me on twitter or instagram @dee_scott7  (for both). Or have you been to an event in your area? I'd love to know what you thought of it!
