First Impression Friday | Benefit Big Easy Bigger Then BB Cream

Hey Beauties...
Welcome back to another First Impression Friday, today I'm going to share with you my first impressions of Benefits Better then BB Big Easy BB Cream. I'm not going to go too in depth about this product as I'm going to save that for my full review which will be up in about 2 weeks, basically Big Easy is Benefits answer to a BB Cream but better, typical of Benefit really! Personally I love BB Creams especially for the summer months as my skin is clearer, plus I hate normal foundations as I have issues with things on my face, if I can feel it on my face I wont wear it.

Firstly I have to say I absolutely love the packaging! Which is what made me want it so badly in the first place! Plus I don't have many products from Benefit but the ones I recently collected I am obsessed with! So I was really excited when I was able to get my hands on this beauty when I went to Norwich with Tia. I have been holding back trying it so I could share with you my first impressions of it in this weeks post.

Benefit Claim:
  • Balances moisture & controls oil
  • Self adjusts on skin to your exact shade
  • Perfects & evens with liquid-to-powder finish
  • Protects with broad spectrum SPF 35 to help prevent aging

There are 6 Shades to the BB Cream ranging from Light to Deep beige, giving everyone the chance to try out this product.  I got matched by the Benebabes in Debenhams in Norwich and they matched me a Medium.

Benefit Big Easy - 04 medium | £27.50
My First Impressions the cream is a little thicker consistency then your usually BB Cream, it says on the back of the box to apply to moisturised face with your fingertips, which to be honest has become my favourite way of applying BB and CC Creams at the moment. The cream goes on the skin effortlessly and gives a gorgeous finish, it applies as a liquid and really does dry as a powder, giving a nice matte finish. When I first used this I didn't apply a moisturiser before hand and I did noticed it ever so slightly cling to the small dry patches I had on my cheek. nothing too noticeable though and it did leave the rest of my face feeling soft and moisturised, plus is does say apply to a moisturised face.

The product did well at lasting all day, I didn't really see the need to set with a powder or touch up through out the day. The coverage is Light-Medium as it can be easily built up to a medium coverage on areas that may need it, but will not give more coverage then that. It does cover my slight redness around my nose and cheek area really well and evens out skin tone beautifully.

So for my first application I am pretty impressed I do like it as it is so light weight, I'm thinking this may be a product best suited for 'Good skin days' but I will keep you updated on that. I will continue to wear this product for the next 1 and half - 2 weeks and see how it fairs out with a moisturiser applied first and get back to you beauties with a full review.

I hope you liked this post. Please let me know your thoughts on this type of post and if you want me to continue doing them! If you have tired Benefits Big Easy BB Cream I'd love to know what you thought of it.

  1. I tried this last week too and I was surprised how much I liked it. It seems to have much more coverage than other BB creams, but still fairly light! Cant wait to see how you like it after a few weeks!
