Enrapture Apmlify Jumpo Waver | Review

Hey Beauties...
For some time now I have been loving wavy hair, especially last Autumn, when I did a post and video on how I create waving using straighteners (flat iron). I mentioned, I wasn't in the position to purchase any wavers at that time. Well, lucky me, received some for Christmas 2013, from my father-in-law. He bought me the Enrapture Amplify Jumbo Waver so after using it for quite a few months now, I figured it was about time I let you all know my thoughts on it.

Enrapture Claim:
- Super fast heat up
- Constant High Heat
- Instant Heat Recovery from Wave to Wave
- Easily styles on even the thickest hair
- Polished titanium for snag free shiny waves

I do love the blue, box the waver comes in and think the packaging looks sleek and professional, I have in fact kept the blue box, taken out the inner packaging and use it for storing my wavers when I'm not using them.

Enrapture Amplify Jumbo Waver | £59.99
Within the packaging the waver comes complete with a little storage pouch, which converts into a very handy heat mat, this also allows you to quickly and safely put away your waver, without having to wait too long for it to cool down. Also making this styling tool very travel friendly, and sores away nice and compact. There is also a three metre swivel cord attached to the Jumbo waver which makes is easy to manoeuvre while creating gorgeous waves.

I do like the fact there is a temperature dial as well as the on/off switch, which lights up when its switched on, allowing you to creating either loose waves, tighter waves or in-between. The Jumbo Waver has a easy grip spring Marcel handle complete with a handle locking ring, perfect for easy storage, as you can see there are three barrels on the waver two on the top and one included on the bottom panel, which are pretty big in size, I'm not sure the exact measurements of them, all of the barrels have cool tips making it easy and safe to use two hands while holding the waver as it is pretty big.

As for the wavers them selves, I do think they heat up nice and quick, however it would be nice if they made some sort on noise or gave and indication when they were at the right temperature, like my GHD's do, but I do agree with everything that Enrapture have said about this product. As a mum I find it hard sometime to find the time to do my hair all nice, unless Oli is home to occupy Tia while I'm getting ready, however it literally took TEN minutes to create the gorgeous waves shown above! I was really impressed and amazed how quick and easy it really was! They even lasted in my hair for a whole day and was still there when I woke up the next morning and my hair doesn't normally hold anything very well, waves, curls or even straight, so that's pretty impressive to me!

Overall I am very impressed with these Jumbo Wavers and I eat my words with everything I have said about wavers in the past, you seriously can't create waves this quick or long lasting with straighteners and I am so grateful I managed to get some! They are quite on the pricey side at a whopping £59.99 from Boots, but I know they were on sale just before Christmas, so make sure you keep an eye out for any more sales Boots may have in the future. It's definitely worth getting them if you are wanting gorgeous, effortless beach waves in the spring/summer months! I will definitely be using these a lot this season.

Have you tried the Enrapture Jumbo Wavers yet? What are your thoughts on them? How will you be styling your hair this Spring/Summer? I'd love to know!

  1. I also have these and have to say I'm really impressed with the 3 year warrantee. The grip handle snapped on my waver so I emailed the company and they sent me a brand new one the very next day! Great service
