B. Sculpted || Contour Kit || Review

Hey Beauties...
For some time now I have been addicted to contouring. So as soon as I heard that B. Cosmetics was bringing out this Contour Kit I knew I just had to get it and try it out. I haven't really tried a lot of B.s Make up but I do love their skin care.
B. is a high quality cosmetics brand exclusive to Superdrug, in-stores and online, and are widely known for their skincare products such as their micellar water, which is a huge favourite of mine. All of their products are completely animal friendly and carry the safe logo, which is a huge bonus.

The packaging of their contour kit is very simple and compact, which is great for storing and travelling with. As you can see above it also provides with a little face chart, on how to contour which is fab for anyone who hasn't quite mastered how to contour. The kit comes in three shades, Light Medium and Dark. I opted for Medium.

B. Sculpted Contour Kit - Medium || £10.49
The kit itself consists of, a powder contour used to create shadows and define the jawline, and a Highlight cream to be used on cheekbones and brow-bones to create a Luminous sculpted glow.

As for my thoughts on the product itself I found the Powder in this kit is very light weight and silky to touch. It's also really easy to blend leaving you with a gorgeous natural contour, I would go as far as to say this is up there with Benefit Hoola, for my favourite contour powder! I have been using this a lot recently and it is just such a nice powder, it isn't too dark or leave you looking dirty. It's the perfect contour colour! The Highlight cream is a little tricky to work with at first especially if you try to use a brush. It's best to use your fingers with this highlight and lightly dab it onto the area you want to highlight such as cheekbones, cupids bow (above the top lip), along the nose and a little on the forehead. I found this gives a gorgeous glow and as its a cream, really does give a gorgeous natural looking glow to the face.

Overall I love this product, and really do think it is worth the purchase especially if you are just starting out with contour or unsure on how to contour effectively. A little goes a long way so it is definitely worth the money! You can purchase this product here for £10.49. Even if you get this just for the contour colour I think its worth it, as it really does come close to a dupe for Hoola.

If you would like me to do a post on how I contour using this kit then please comment below and I will get one done for you.

Have you tried this product yet? What's your favourite product to contour with? I'd love to know!

  1. Hi. Thanks for this, I've been looking for a decent, reasonably priced contour kit. Love that it comes with a wee diagram too, I am a novice. Would love to see a post about how you contour with this kit if you've got the time. x

  2. I've never really tried to contour as I thought it would be quite difficult to pull off.. (As I'm not the best at fancy make up haha!) So any tips or posts would be much appreciated by me for sure:) I'd love to give it a go. I also love the fact that this contour kit is a dupe for Hoola - as thats what I currently use:)
    Great post:)
