Real Techniques || Powder Brush

Hey Beauties...
Many of you may know my favourite brand of make-up brush's, along with most people, is Real Techniques. I'm sure most of you know by now, that Real Techniques was created by Samantha Chapman from pixiwoo. They are high end quality brushes at affordable prices.
For Christmas 2013 I received the Real Techniques Powder Brush, which is what I will be sharing my thoughts on today. I put off for a long time getting a powder brush as I didn't really feel I needed it, I didn't really have any powders that I wore and I just used my Blush Brush if I needed to use a powder. However I knew I was getting a few powders for Christmas so I decided that I need a nice powder brush to apply them.

The Powder Brush has the same Real Techniques detailing as all the other brushes and a nice shiny, yellow/orange handle which indicates it comes from the Face Brush family of the sets. This brush is huge compared to the rest of the face brushes and I believe it is the biggest brush in the whole collection. It is super soft and fluffy with the right amount of density to emphasise it's high quality.

The first time I used this brush I instantly fell in love with it! The size, the effortless way it applies the product to your face, the smooth finish, everything! I can literally cover the whole of my face with the right amount of product in just 4 or 5 easy sweeps, without product being where I don't want it to be or having a lot of product fall out.
Don't be put off by its size though you can still easily, lightly apply powder to the smaller areas of you face, like under eyes with this brush if you wish, without discomfort or difficulty.

I cannot rave about this brush enough! I seriously can't imagine applying powder without it now and really don't know how I managed before.
You can pick this brush up from many Superdrug or Boots stores or online for £10.99

Have you tried this brush before? What's your favourite Real Technique Brush? I'd Love to know!

Much Love

  3. I don't really care for super large powder brushes, but this one doesn't look too bad. I really like the RT brushes, & it is about time for me to get a new one…thanks for sharing this review!
