MAC Eyeshadow || Cranberry || Review

Hey Beauties...
Today's review is on the highly sought after MAC Cranberry Eye Shadow. I have had this a few months now and you may have seen it in quite a few of my previous posts, so thought it was about time I shared with you my thoughts on it!

Now we all know I'm an Urban Decay girl when it comes to eyeshadow and this is my first and only MAC eyeshadow so I'm not too familiar with the ins and outs on MAC shadow formulas. But what I can tell you is this is 'frost' finish, which have small shimmer particles creating a shinning iridescent appearance.

MAC Eyeshadow | Cranberry £12.50

As you can see the colour of this shadow is gorgeous! Perfect for the Autumn/Winter months! The pigmentation of this is brilliant. It can be quite sheer, which is a good thing as you can build to your desired colour, weather you want just a light dusting of colour over another or to build it so its the main colour focus point in the eye is completely your choice. Giving you a range of looks you can create with this one colour.

I personally love this eyeshadow and I am definitely tempted to try more mac shadows. My only criticism about this is that if I don't wear a primer underneath it will crease, which from what I hear is common with frost finishes. That isn't much of a problem for me though as I wear a primer most of the time anyway.

I hope you liked this post. Have you tried MAC Cranberry? If so I'd love to know your thoughts on it and how you got on with it without a primer? Let me know in the comments below.

Much Love
Xxx

  4. This has been on my wish list forever, I love the look of it so much! I'd be worried that wearing it would make me look like I have sore eyes or have been punched though haha so that's why I haven't bought it yet! x

  7. I have this shade & am obsessed with it, it can be a bit to sheer for my liking but the unique colour makes up for it.
I haven't tried wearing it without a primer yet though.

    1. Oh yes its very sheer isnt it! I found either using your finger or a dampened brush (setting spray or water) works great to really get the colour pay off! it's a very unique gorgeous colour!
