Halloween | Make-up and Outfit

Hey Beauties...
For this weeks make-up Monday post I decided I would share with you all the make-up and outfit I wore on Halloween. Although we didn't go to any parties or anything, I decided I wanted to dress up with Tia as we took her round the houses. Never too old to dress up ;)

This year I decided to dress up as a 'Glamorous' Pirate. Something I haven't done before.

As I don't have any light foundation and I wanted to make my face look pale, I decided to pick up this Small make-up set from Tesco, it was only £1 and I only really wanted the white and black colours.
so I wetted the sponge applicator and applied the white to my whole face, also using my buffing brush to help apply the colour more.

I then decided (at the last minute) to use my Crown Brush 10 Concealer Palette. Taking the lightest shade and using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and applied it all over my face.

To create a more 'Undead' Look to the face I decided to contour using the darkest colour of the palette and my Real Techniques Delux crease brush. I applied the colour in an upside down 'Tick' like pattern making sure it was quite dark and focusing more in the hollows of my cheeks. I then slightly blended it in using my Buffing Brush.

I also went back and used the Tesco make-up set and with my Delux crease brush applied the black to my undereyes to create a grey shadow.

For the eyes I used my CrownBrush 88 Shimmer Palette and a black eyeliner pencil.

1. After priming my eyes I applied a bright red from the palette all over the lid and blended into the crease.
2. I then went over that red with a slightly darker/metallic red again blending into the crease.
3. To add dimension I applied a orangy/red to the crease of my eyes.
4. Then to create a really dramatic smoky eye I applied the gunmetal black from the palette to the outer corners of the eyes really dragging it out into a 'cat eye' and blended into the crease. I also dragged the black colour down onto my lower lash line.

I lined my upper and lower lash line and water line using a black eye liner pencil and really smoking out the lower lash line using my Real techniques fine liner brush.

I also applied false eye lashes, the ones I used (and now love) are the ardell Demi whispies which I picked up in Tesco! I also used Revlon precision adhesive which dries dark.

And finally for the lips I just decided to use MUA £1 Lipstick in shade 1.

As for my hair I decided to do boho beach waves (see how HERE) and add a couple of little plates at the front to make it look more like a pirate.

So I hope you enjoyed seeing how I did my make-up for Halloween.
Here are mine and Tias outfits:
I apologise for the blurriness of Tia's picture, she was too excited!

My outfit was from e-bay and I payed £28 for it, including the hat, the boots I've had for a few years and are from NewLook.

Tia was dressed up as a 'Poisoned princess'  (in other words snow white in a black dress) and her little outfit was from Wilkinsons, I forget how much. the tights were from tesco £1

Hope you liked this post and hope you all had a great Halloween and stayed safe!
What did you dress up as for Halloween I'd love to know :)

Any comments or questions please leave them blow and I will get back to you.

Much Love
