Monthly favourites | September 2013

Hey Beauties...
Where on earth is this year going?? Nearly October already! and nearly my birthday again! Feels like it was only a couple of months ago I was celebrating my last birthday! (7th October) and yes I am slightly obsessed with birthdays, anyone's not just mine!
Anyway getting back on track. These are just a few things I have been loving over the month of September. There isn't much as I have been ill over the past 2-3 weeks so I haven't been using a great deal of make-up or products, but these are what I have been using and loving.

 Celebrity Brow Compact
I have been using this brow kit almost every day to fill in my brows I absolutely love it I have done a post on this which you can read HERE, where you can also find my video on how I use the product.

These have been my go-to eye shadows this month when I have been feeling up to wearing make-up. I have been using Cranberry with Half Baked and Darkhorse from the naked palette to create a gorgeous smoky eye (let me know if you would like a tutorial) This has definitely been my go-to look.

These two I have been heavily relying on for the days I have been feeling rough and needing a pick me up, I use Vintage Blush all over the lid and Vanilla Sky just in the tear duct.

I have recently rediscovered my love for the Match Perfection Concealer after featuring it in my Staple Items video (which you can find HERE) and deciding I should start using it again! I absolutely love it, blends in with my skin tone perfectly, doesn't crease and lasts all day!
For the days like I said before, that I have been feeling rough and just in need of a pick me up I have been using the Wake Me Up concealer to brighten up my under eyes. Again I have had this a while but never really used it enough to really appreciate it until now, and I must say it is a life saver, really does brighten up your eyes and make you look and feel more awake.

I have done a post on how I make my eyes look brighter and more awake which you can read HERE.
Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel Cream
I suffer from cold sores quite frequently, I get then when the weather changes and when I'm ill. So its just my luck that I became ill as the weather changed which led me to end up with two cold sores! Many of you may know that once the cold sores have started to scab (sorry for TMI) the only thing you can really do to help them heal is keep them moisturised! So I have been using this product like its going out of fashion! It really hydrates my lips and leaves them feeling soft, my cold sores went after 2-3 days thanks to this! I only really used it while Oli was at work due to it containing Almond Oil. So while Oli was around I did use my Body Shop Lip Butters (which I can no long find) these two are definitely my winter saviours!

Hope you enjoyed this post, and liked seeing the products I have been loving this month!
Have you tried any of these? If so what are your thoughts on them?

My video on this is linked below so please give it a thumbs up and subscribe it you want to!

As always any comments or questions leave them below and I will get back to you. Also if you have any video or blog post requests I'd love to hear from you.
