Make-up Monday | Night Out / Evening Look using 'drugstore/high-street'

Hey Beauties...
I was asked to create a look for a night out, so I decided I would make it a 'drug-store/high-street' make-up look as in my other make-up post I've been using my high end make-up, such as my naked palettes. Everything in this post can be found at superdrug either online or in store. If you live outside the UK then the sleek products you can order from www.sleekmakeup.com and the do ship internationally.

So this is the look I came up with its just like a smoky eye look with a nice pop of colour and a nice neutral lip.

To set everything in place and keep my face look matte I used 4.Rimmel Powder Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Transparent and to finish of the face I used 5.Sleek Blush in Pixie Pink.
After that I then lightly filled in my eyebrows using 6.Sleek Brow Kit in Dark.

For the eyes I used Sleek i-candy i-divine Palette from the Candy Collection.

1. To start off with I applied 'Cream Soda' all over the lid as a base.
2.Next I went in with 'Blue Fizzle' on top of 'Cream Soda' blending into the crease aswell.
3.Then I used 'Parma Violet' just in the crease of my eyes to smoke it out and add a bit of depth.
4. and finally I used 'Liquorice' just over the purple to smoke it out a bit more and add more dimension.

Next I used Rimmel Glam'eyes Professional Liquid Eyeliner to line my upper lash line and create a slight flick at the end. Then I used Rimmel Special Eyes Eyeliner Pencil to tightline my upper and lower water line, and to finish off I used Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara on my lashes but you can use false lashes if you prefer.

For the lips I wanted to keep it nice a simple but still a bit of gloss that would be long lasting for a night out, so I opted for Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Celestial which is a nice muted pink.

So I hope you like this look, let me know in the comments. Also any requests for future posts either comment or tweet me!

  1. This is such a stunning look! Makes your eyes really stand out and look even more stunning. Wish I was brave enough to wear blue tones, as a blonde I'm scared I'll look like Barbie!
