Summer Ready my Tips & Picks | Arms and Hands

Hey Beauties...
So this is part three of the #SummerReady series, and today I thought I'd share with you how I make sure my hands and arms are #SummerReady and soft.  Hope everyone has been enjoying the lovely weather when we have it. Personally I love the heat so now its cooled down a little I'm a bit gutted, but it should brighten up again :) hopefully.
So lets get right into it:

Ill start with my arms, as with the sunny weather we tend to be having out arms on display. I feel when it comes to our body, arms tend to get left out as we focus more on our legs, hands feet ect. although arms are probably the most on show in the summer and least in the winter, so to revive my arms from being covered and from the cold of the winter this is what I use:
Body Shops Vineyard Peach Body Scrub - I love this scrub I use it at least once a week. When it comes to my arms I used to get them horrible bumps/pimples on the back of the top part of my arm and it used to really depress and annoy me, if you get them as well I highly recommend using this scrub (they do different scents) and really focusing on scrubbing the back of your arms. I have noticed 100% improvement from doing this. The back of my arms are smooths and soft now.
Body Shop Body Butters - I have quite a few of these that I switch about, but after the shower and using the scrub I always always always apply a body scrub to my arms, focusing on the back of my arms at the top. The body butters leave my arms feeling soft and hydrated without feeling sticky, until I have another shower. I don't shower every day, but every 2 days or if I've been to the gym, as the water dries out my skin a lot and the natural oils from my skin help to keep my skin looking and feeling healthy (I'm not a smelly or sweaty person don't worry)

Now for hands:
So for hands, pretty much the same as my feet (if you haven't seen that post you can check it out HERE) I like to start off by taking my old nail polish off (I just use any nail polish remover) then I file and buff my nails down, I recently bought a cheap nail file from tescos for about £2 I think, and my buffing block was from ebay for about £2 for 3 of them! Then I like to use my cuticle pusher to put my cuticles down, you can use cuticle cream to soften the cuticles so they are easier to push down I just cant find my one (oops) then If there is any excess skin around my nails, to save me biting them, I use some cuticle clippers, I got mine from superdrug a while back can't remember how much they were but they were cheep.

So after I have filed and preped my nails I like to use my Body Shop Africa Honey & Beeswax Hands & Foot Butter this is nice and moisturising and doesn't leave your hands feeling tacky after, I like to make sure I really rub this into my cuticles and they are the most dry part of my hands and especially after pushing them back, it takes away the while marks that are left over. I do get major dry hands almost like eczema but not as bad so when I get that I do have to use E45 cream ever 2-3 hours or after I've washed my hands. Or what you can do if you too suffer with dry, which is what I do often, is apply a thick layer of cream/butter to your hands and leave it to soak in, try not to rub the product in too much as it will not soak into the skin as well, if you wanted you can get little gloves that you can wear while the product is soaking in allowing you to carry on with what ever you need to do (minus washing up)

For Polish I tend recently go towards bright colours in the summer and lately I have been loving the BarryM Gelly High Shine especially the light pink one you can read my review on these HERE.

So that is pretty much everything I do to make sure my arms and hands are ready for summer, if you have any 'Tips or Picks' then please feel free to leave a comment below, also if you have any comments or questions again leave them below and I will get back to you also if you leave ur twitter name below I can tweet you when I have replied :)
