Seven For The Rainbow | Colaberation

Hey Beauties...
So I was kindly asked by Daphne over at Peanut Butter And Chocolate Life and Megan at Little Miss Average, to join them and 4 others, to take part in a Colours of the rainbow tag with a little twist, Instead of talking about every colour of the rainbow each of us would pick a colour and show 5 products of that colour that we love, As you can see I chose purple.

I absolutly adore my real Techniques brush's and as the handles of these eye makeup brushes are purple I thought I just had to include them in this post! they are the best brush's I have ever used! and so affordable too! Definite must have in every girls collection.

Next up is the Urban Decay Primer Potion love this product, although the product itself isnt purple the packaging is and I just felt like I had to talk about this as something I love! its amazing makes your eyeshadow stay on longer without greasing and give, I think, a better colour pay off.
Another thing that the product isn't purple but the packaging is, is my EOS lipbalm in passion fruit, these aren't available in the UK but my cousin was kind enough to send some over to me! and as I love all of them it was only right that I put the passion fruit one in this post as its the only one thats purple, I personally think these are really moisturising and hydrating although not alot of people will agree with me.

This product however is purple and I seriously have been loving this recently its the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil In Rockstar, this is great for lining the eyes of a nice natural smokey eye just to add a hint of colour and you can see its quite a dark purple so won't ruin a neutral look, this glides on the eyes lovely not tugging on the eye lid! it feels so soft and really does last a long time, not sure about 24hrs as I never wear my makeup for 24hrs.

and the final Purple coloured product that I love and possibly the only other purple product I own is Tornado from the Urban Decay Glinda palette, is not too over powering and goes great in the outer corners of the eyes to add a pop of colour without making a drastic change to a look, it has light blue undertones which I think show up nicely in the light.

So that is all for my 5 purple products for the rainbow tag, I hope you liked this post and be sure to check out the other girls posts below and see what they have been loving in their colours :)

Thank you girlies for asking me to be a part of this I had a lot of fun choosing my products :)

Speak soon
Much love

  2. Dee Bee! You did a great job, lovey! Purple is my favorite color and you've made me want everything in this post! I'm not a huge fan of the EOS lip balms, but I might have to give it another go if only to get this cute lavender packaging in my bag! And that eyeliner is LUSH! Urban Decay has such great products and it looks like you might be a bit of a fan! Thanks for doing this with us, sweetie! You're a babe! xx

I really like purple, and am on a hunt to find the perfect purple lipstick! Been kissing a lot of toads to find my prince! Will be an interesting post when I find the perfect one :) Great job!

  4. I love all of your picks! Especially the RT brushes! I couldn't find them at the ULTA near me when I visited America a couple months back. I kept swatching Rockstar but I can't remember why I didn't buy it...totally regretting it now :(

Thanks for taking part in this collaboration, love! xx
