Make-up Monday | My 'Beat The Heat' go-to look

Hey Beauties...
So for today's #MakeupMonday I decided i would share with you the Make-up look I have been loving this past week which is perfect for the heat/humidity we have been having in the UK recently, it stays put and it quick and simple to do. So I hope you like it!

So this is the overall look like I said simple, quick and easy to do giving you a nice glow and bronzed look.
For the face I have been loving:
Garnier Moisture Match Shine Be Gone - I don't have oily skin, my skin type is Normal/combination but this is perfect for the sticky weather and keeps my face grease and oil free with shine kept at a minimal.
Bourjois BB Bronzer- I have only been using this for a week or so but I do quite like how it gives you a nice healthy glow and doesn't seem to melt in the heat, it is a very light overage though which I don't mind and I have found it goes on the skin better if I use my Real Techniques Stippling Brush.

I do like to use a setting powder over the BB bronzer just because its a little too dewy for my liking and feel it sits on the skin better and I have been loving Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder Transparent this really does keep your face matt throughout the day even in the heat and humidity, Sadly I don't have a powder brush (yet) but I have been using myReal Techniques Blush Brush for now.
The passed week I have been using  Bourjois Chocolate Bronzing Powder again I have only had this a week but it is great for a subtle contour below the cheek bones and applies perfectly using the Real Techniques Contour brush from the Core Collection

For my eyebrows there's no secret I use my Sleek Brow Kit I use the powder to create more of a natural look, for concealer I use MUA pro Concealer Kit you can read my review HERE ;) I apply the middle shade under my eyes, and the shade on the right just on my cheek bones in a C shape to the corner of my eye.

For the eyes I kept it nice and simple by just using Collection Work the Colour Shadow Pencil Vintage Blush all over my lid and blended out, these are great for the heat, they do not budge at all. Then followed by Max Factor Wild Mega Lash Mascara on the lashes.

For the lips I have rediscovered my love for Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer Nova Love this shade! I did take the pic a couple ours after I had applied it, I don't know why, but still look great :)

Well hope you like this look let me know if you have any requests for future make-up looks or posts, as always leave any questions and comments below and I will get back to you :)

  1. I like to resort to oily skin products in the heat too! I used a little sample of the Clarins matte lotion under my make up for a wedding last week and it lasted so well! Just started following your blog. xx
