Beauty steal | MUA pro base conceal & brighten kit | Review

Hello Beauties...

So the other day I was in town having a nose in my local superdrug as you do, the superdrug where I live doesn't really have a lot compared to bury st Edmunds or Norwich, but I was looking at the tiny MUA stand we have and noticed this little gem.

I'm not going to lie, I have become a slight concealer junkie especially when it comes to my under eyes, and at £3.50 it was hard to say no to this!

It comes in 3 shades, Porcelain-Beige, Natural-Medium Rose, Beige-Golden. As you can see I chose Natural-Medium Rose, as I thought this suited my skin tone better.

As you can see you get 3 shades in this palette, A 'Skin toned' concealer (left) a lighter under eye concealer (middle) and cheek tint highlighter (right)
The first thing I noticed was the consistency of the products, they feel extremely creamy but not to the point of feeling greasy, just the right texture to them I personally think. They glide on the skin not pulling on it in any way when you blend them in the skin.
The last thing I noticed, and it took me a while to notice this, but it has a tiny mirror across the top allowing you to pop it into your make-up bag and top up, if you need to, on the go. To be honest though the mirror could be a little bigger.

The undereye concealer does not crease under my eyes and as you can see from the picture it doesn't even look like Im wearing any make-up which is a bonus, and also doesnt feel or look cakey on the skin even after a good few hours of wear. On me I'd say this concealer does last all day, with usual wear.

I'd say the coverage of the undereye concealer would be a medium just enough to hid minor dark circles. The 'skin' tone concealer is a tiny bit more coverage, enough to cover some redness but not full coverage, this one will also cover some discolouration under the eyes.
The cheek tint/Highlighter is absolutely lovely it give you just the right amount of a natural glow, and doesn't make it obvious that you have anything on your face.

I'm not going to lie when I first picked this up I didn't really have high, if any, hopes for this given the price range, I mean what can you expect for £3.50 right? Wrong!! I adore this product and I am so glad I went with my impulse and bought it, I would definitely go as far as to say I like it just as much as my Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer, now that's saying something.
