Must have lipstick.. | BarryM TMLP

Hello everyone..
Many of you might of heard about the BarryM TMLP (Touch of Magic Lip Paint) lipstick, I first read about it on wounderful--you blog post by Meg, and after reading about it I just knew I needed this in my life!!
So I went down to Superdrug and just bought it! Why not it's only £4.49!! bargain! If i hadn't of read Megs blog post I definitely wouldn't of even looked for it! I don't tend to look at BarryM products if I'm honest.

Anyway for those who haven't yet heard about it or seen it here it is.

I know the colour is amazing isn't it! ;)
Haha don't be alarmed! The lipstick reacts to the alkali levels in your lips so depending on how light or dark you natural lip colour is depends on how pale or rich the colour will come out, making it the perfect pink colour for your skin tone! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

BarryM say that this lipstick is a "waterproof with added aloe vera, lasts up to 8 hours"  obviously you read things like that and thing yeah right. But I put this lipstick on at about 10.30 am yesterday, went and done the things I normally do, ate, drank (no colour came off on my drinks), and even licked my lips quite a few times! (bad habit of mine!) which would make any long lasting lip stick rub off right? well when my other half came home at about 5.30pm the colour was still on my lips!! :O wow!
I did re-apply it at about 7pm as I went out last night, but this stuff seriously stays put!! i even scrubbed it with a wet wipe to try get the colour off my lips and no such luck! it was still on, it was even still on when I wont up this morning even though I took all my make up off last night, ok ok you get the idea its long lasting and waterproof, pretty impressive if you ask me!

The only thing is when you put it on its lovely and moisturising but I find the longer you have it on the more it dries out which as I have dry lips at the moment can irritate my lips, but thats nothing a little lip balm wont sort out and you can easily apply a lip balm over the top of the colour when it starts to dry out :)

What I also like about this lipstick is that although it looks smaller then any other brand lipstick you actually get the same amount of product its just  more compact :) and cheaper!
I think I will definitely be looking in the BarryM section a lot more now I don't know why  I didn't before?

Overall view:
  • Would I recommend this product: Yes definitely! If you love pink lip colours and are looking for the right shade for you!
  • Is this product worth the money: Yes bargain for £4.49
  • Would I repurchase this product: Yes!
  • Am I pleased I bought this product: Yes, so glad I did.
Hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if you have tried this lipstick and what your thoughts were on it :)

  1. It looks a bit scary in the tube, but that's so cool that it'll match your skin tone!
